Gabriel was born in Lisbon, Portugal, and grew up in the football-ridden streets of Madrid, Spain. Having played since the age of nine, Pedras has distinguished himself as one of the top young talents in Portuguese football - achieving a Top 3 ranking in sub-16 categories and a Top 5 ranking in sub-17, both in their respective first divisions. As captain of his Varsity team, he led the squad to victory within the International School European Sports Conference and was named MVP in their recent first-placed championship, which featured a dozen international schools across the Lisbon region. Throughout his career, Pedras has played in top divisions and represented multiple prestigious academies, consisting of Real Madrid, Benfica, Malveira da Serra, and currently Carcavelos.
